This week we have a beautiful new sock kit with a new pattern released by one of my favorite designers, Alicia Plummer. Alicia used our lovely Wisconsin Woolen Spun Fingering Weight to make the sweetest pair of socks, the Homesweet Socks. I love them. I also love the name Homesweet, it’s so perfect. You can follow Alicia here on Instagram

Here is Alicia’s description of the sock construction:

"Socks are cast on at the cuffs and worked from the top down seamlessly in the round. The heel is worked as a traditional heel flap & gusset, then the foot of the sock is also worked in the round down to the toes which are grafted closed with Kitchener Stitch. MC is held dominant when doing the colorwork."

These are simple traditional socks with a pretty little bit of colorwork at the top of the cuff. I am casting on a pair for myself right away. The pattern offers three sizes.

The Homesweet Socks Kits include:

* Enough of our Wisconsin Woolen Spun Fingering Weight yarn to make one pair of socks in any of the three sizes in your color combination of choice, listed in order MC and CC: Jam (pretty red) and Birch (creamy white), Laurel (mossy green) and Birch (creamy white), Sherwood (heathered teal) and Birch (creamy white), and Rainshower (heathered light gray) and Pebble (charcoal).

* 10 of our small BWC Ring Stitch Markers

* All packed in our printed cotton project bag with an illustrated tag by Susan.

Important Pattern Note: The pattern is not included in the kit. Please purchase the Homesweet Socks pattern directly from Alicia on Ravelry by clicking right here!

I hope you enjoy this new sock kit with the lovely pattern by Alicia Plummer. Thank you, Alicia!
