Wildflowers Cap Kit
Mary Jane Mucklestone is one of our favorite designers and people for that matter! Her beautifully simple Wildflowers Cap was inspired by the wide variety of blue wildflowers in her home state of Maine. This pattern originally appeared in the premiere issue of Making Magazine No. 1 / Flora and we are so excited to work with Mary Jane to bring you a Barrett Wool Co. version of this fantastic hat in kit form.
The hat starts at the brim and moves into a lovely traditional Scandinavian flower motif. After the motif is finished the hat is decreased at the top and finished off with a sweet pom-pom. As soon as you finish your first Wildflowers Cap you’ll want to cast on a second, it’s that fun!
The Kit Includes:
- A full 100g skein in the main color and a 33g skein in the contrast color of your choice. This kit is being offered in both Wisconsin Woolen Spun and Home Worsted Weight. You will have enough for the hat and a small pom-pom in the contrast color.
- The Wildflower Cap pattern as either a Ravelry download or a copy of Making Magazine No. 1 / Flora. There is also an option for no pattern if you already own a copy.
- Tin of 20 assorted color stitch markers.
- Hand-stamped cotton project bag.
