Friends, we are happy to say the Good Tidings Advent Collection is back for one final run.
We’re offering a limited number of the full collection for anyone who has purchased in the past and for those who have been waiting for another chance to join in. We are offering FREE worldwide shipping once again.
The yarn for this new release will be our locally milled, woolen-spun fingering-weight yarn. It has the same rustic character and old-fashioned charm that made the original yarn such a wonderful fit for these projects. We have carefully selected a new palette that closely matches the original Good Tidings colors while bringing its own beautiful character to the collection.

❄️ There are 10 brand new original patterns from Susan. The designs create an Advent countdown for the holiday season. The knit items could be used in a variety of ways, so even if you don’t celebrate the holiday season or you don’t necessarily want to follow the Advent countdown, you will be able to enjoy the projects as individual gifts or as ornaments or just as sweet little toys or decorations. This Advent knitting adventure will create a one-of-a-kind heirloom set that can start a family tradition that hopefully will be passed down to generations to come.❄️ The patterns will be presented in our first-ever printed book. We are so excited about this! You will also receive the patterns as digital PDFs in an email sent to you after we have shipped the collections.
❄️ We have partnered with one of our favorite mills, the historic Harrisville Mill in scenic New Hampshire. This is the mill where we get our lovely Woolens yarn line spun. We have worked with the good folks at Harrisville for years, and we have happily secured their Shetland fingering weight yarn line for this collection. The yarn is a pleasure to knit, and it lends old-fashioned charm to the finished projects, a total winner.
❄️ You will be receiving 10 skeins of yarn in a variety of both warm and wintery colorways to create your own Good Tidings Advent.
❄️ Many of the new pattern designs require extra items for finishing, such as felt, safety eyes, black thread, embroidery floss, jingle bells, etc. We will supply you with all of these items, along with some extras to finish your Advent countdown with style. All you’ll need is some fiberfill stuffing, a bit of sewing thread and a needle, and of course, your knitting needles.
❄️ A string of sorts and clips are included for the hanging of your Advent garland, if this is how you choose to use it.
❄️ The entire collection comes in a custom organic cotton tote bag printed with original artwork by Susan. The tote can be used as a project bag while you’re knitting your Good Tidings Advent items, and then it can be used to store the Advent garland until the next year.
This is the most exciting and the biggest undertaking we have taken on as of yet!
