We’ve added a new element to your fall-themed knitting this year. Welcome to the most charming Tiny Pumpkin pattern. The Tiny Pumpkin pattern is a separate pattern that can be purchased individually, but with the purchase of our popular Little Witch Charm Set Kit you get the new Tiny Pumpkin pattern for free. The tiny pumpkins go perfectly with our Little Witch, using all of our gorgeous autumnal colorways in Woolens. The Tiny Pumpkin is truly tiny measuring 1.5-inches tall.
For this version of the combined Little Witch and Tiny Pumpkin Kits I knitted up the samples using our Woolens sport weight yarn. I used a US size 4 needle (instead of the original US size 3 on the fingering weight yarn). I knit the pattern exactly the same as written. What a fun knit. For the Woolens Witch I striped four of the colors on the witch’s body. Play around and have fun any way you’d like.
The pattern for the Little Witch includes instructions for the witch, a black cat, and a broom and now, the tiny pumpkins, too.
With this kit, you can knit Tiny Pumpkins, black cats, Little Witches and Brooms to your heart’s content.
Little Witches with Black Cats and Brooms seem to go hand-in-hand with October. I think you’ll love working up this adorable Halloween-ish set. The witch is worked from the bottom-up and seamlessly. The arms are picked up and knit on to the body. The hat is worked from the bottom-up and the brim is picked up and worked on from the cast on edge. The cat is worked seamlessly from the bottom-up. The ears and tail are picked up and knit on to the head and body. The broom is worked from the top-down in one-piece.
