8 (9) - inches in circumference at the foot of the sock. The cuff measures about 6-inches from the cast on edge to the top of the heel flap. Both the cuff and the foot lengths can be adjusted.
Needles
US size 2 / 2.75 mm double-pointed needles (set of 4) or size to obtain gauge. You can also use magic loop or other methods for working on a small circumference in the round but this pattern is written for double-pointed needles.

Woolens by Barrett Wool Co., sport weight, 100% American Wool, 180 yards / 50 grams in the following amounts.
Color 1 for the cuff, heel and toe: 1 skein
Color 2 for the leg and foot: 2 skeins
