Welcome to Good Pig! What a charming new friend for us. Good Pig joins the line of my “good” characters including Good Bear, Good Bunny, Good Frog, and Good Mouse. What’s so fun about this series of knit toys is that they all follow the same structure, which keeps it simple if you are making them all. The toys all have slight changes along the way to make them into a certain animal. The clothes are all interchangeable between characters, too.
Good Pig is just adorable and I know you’ll love this new friend!
The Good Pig Kit and Pattern includes materials and instructions for:
- The Good Pig
- A “denim” jumpsuit with pockets and a tail hole
- A long-sleeve shirt with rolled collar and cuffs
- A squishy garter stitch cardigan
- A folded-brim multi-color hat with ear holes and a tiny pom
What’s included in the kit?
- Enough Woolens yarn to knit one pig and the four clothing items. The colorways included are Birdie (blush pink), Cove (heathered denim blue), Pound Cake (buttery yellow), Snowbound (creamy white), and a small length of Door County or Apple for the pom on the top of the hat.
- One set of 5mm safety eyes
- A small square of pink wool felt for the nose
- Black crochet cotton for mouth embroidery
- The Good Pig pattern (pig + clothes instructions) FREE with kit purchase
- Optional add-on: Heart or Round buttons (set of 3)

The only things you’ll need are sewing thread (black and pink or white) and a sewing needle, stuffing, and your knitting needles.
