The pullover is worked from the top down seamlessly. The neck is shaped with short rows. The body and sleeves are worked in the round.
The front features a charted star motif with eyelets and bobbles. Bobble notes: The 3-stitch method of bobble used in the sample creates a smaller bobble with a lower profile. The choice of yarn can affect the look of the bobbles and adjacent stitches. Please consider swatching a few bobble methods before you begin and substitute any bobble that you prefer.
There are two options for shaping the sleeves: the gathered cuff (shown in the lighter sample) has a wider sleeve with decreases concentrated at the cuff. The tapered sleeve (shown in the darker sample) has decreases distributed evenly down the length of the arm. The gathered cuff creates a more romantic silouette , and has the advantage of being better for layering over other clothes. The tapered cuff sleeve has a sportier look and the advantage of being easier to layer under other clothes.
