Red mittens on a string, tiny poms on wooly hats, and yoked sweaters? I can’t think of a cuter ornament combination, especially with the dangling mittens off the cuffs of the sweater. Individually, all three of these projects are a treat. But when cleverly strung together on a wee hanger, they make a winning combination that is sure to make the winter months more festive. The Wee Woolens Ornament Set makes a super sweet gift or package topper to boot!

The mitten is worked in I-cord from the bottom-up. Then thumb sts are picked up and worked.
The sweater is worked seamlessly from the top-down on three dpns, with increases at the yoke. The sleeves are separated and placed on waste yarn. After the body is completed, the sleeve sts are picked up and worked down. Stripes and colorwork are in the yoke only. The embroidered sweater is worked in one color and embroidered after completion.
The hat is worked in the round from the bottom-up. The pom is made using a dinner fork and attached after the hat is completed.
