Little Giraffe is not only a super-sweet knit toy but it is also a clever new toy construction that I am planning on using a lot in the future. The limbs, horns, and ears are knit first. The body is started at the bottom and then as you work your way up you knit in the appendages as you go! It works out so well, there is absolutely no guesswork for placement and everything is neat and tidy and super-secure. The only seam in the entire toy is to attach the head to the body with a quick whipstitch. It only takes a minute or two to get this done.
