The Week Ahead / Plotting & Planning

Hi, Knitters,
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. We certainly did around here. My youngest graduated from high school and it was quite an event. There are lots of changes on the horizon around here. I am trying to embrace it all.
As far as the knitting goes, I have so many new designs lined up. I am working away on those. In the photo above I am using our squishy Home Worsted Weight in the Snowy Pine and Wood Violet colorways to get going on a little something sweet. Have you ever done checkered garter stitch using two colors? It's pretty fun.
The side cake of yarn in the photo is the Grassland colorway in Home Fingering Weight. I'm going to be whipping up a fun little toy over the next couple of days with that! It's exciting to start new projects as we all know.
In the shop later this week we have a beautiful new hat pattern being released that uses two skeins of Home Worsted Weight in contrasting colors. I can't wait to share it with you. I'm in love and I think you're going to like it, too.
In the meantime, there are a few Butterfly & Cocoon Kits left, but not many. Thanks for the wonderful response. It has been pretty incredible and it made last weekend even more special. Be sure to sign up right on the product page to get an email notice if something is out of stock. Then as soon as it is restocked you get an automatic email to let you know. Works like a charm.
I'll be back on Wednesday with a new Journal entry. This Journal is starting to feel like home and that's a good thing.
I'll be back soon with more...
love, susan
