Wednesday Share-Day!

Hi, Knitters,
Wednesdays are now the day that I search through #barrettwoolco on Instagram and find fun photos and projects being worked on in our Barrett Wool Co. wools. It's always fun to see what people are knitting!

I absolutely love the Nordic Wind Shawl knit in four shades of Wisconsin Woolen Spun Worsted knit and photograph provided by @salmonberryknits on Instagram. Sarah has a fantastic Instagram feed that features a lot of her beautiful knits. Sarah used the colors Birch, Rainshower, Stone and Hawthorn.

Here is what Sarah had to say about her gorgeous shawl and the WWS yarn:

"Your Woolen Spun is a pleasure to work with. Such beautiful yarn!"

Thanks, Sarah! I love that you included your throat lozenges in the photo above. It shows how you carried right on even being under the weather. Good work and thanks so much for sharing your fantastic knitting and photos.

Pacasha Younger shared this photo on her Instagram and I love what she had to say:

"Have you seen the Three French Hens Kit by Barrett Wool Co.? The yarn was so scrumptious I had to ball it by hand. It feels how yarn SHOULD feel. Lofty, crisp, not too soft and of actual sheep. Not a single itch. With a sturdiness that promises no pills and a squish that says hold me close. A perfect knit for a chicken mama. And a perfect gift for the little ones in my life. I have to finish two by Sunday night. And I have a trip to Albuquerque to fit in on Saturday. Think I can do it?

AND, pardon my fangirl moment, Susan B. Anderson signed my receipt! She's the best!"

First, click here to see Pacasha's beautiful finished chickens!  I love them.

Second, pardon MY fangirl moment, Pacasha, when I saw your finished hens and your kind words for BWC. You are very sweet and I am so glad you enjoyed your kit. Thank you for sharing.

And just so you know there are currently a few of the Three French Hens Kits available in the shop right now. Click here to find out more information or to purchase!

One last thing, if you are working on your Sonora Shawl in any of our Barrett Wool Co. yarn please post with #sonorakal so I can see your photos on Instagram! I am selecting weekly winners for a few more weeks and the next winner will be chosen tomorrow.

I'll be back soon with more...
